Motion capturing is the process of recording the movement of human actors or dancers by fixing special markers on their body. The moves of these markers are processed and can then be mapped onto computergenerated 3D characters. In the meantime there are different websites providing those motion capturing data. For the animations below I used data from www.mixamo.com. There are breathtaking possibilities using this technique, because you can "transfer" real human movement into virtual worlds.
